Orange Unified School District in Orange County, CA passed a ‘Parents Bill of Rights’ this past Tuesday. Some critics called it “theater” while parents say the measure is a necessary precaution to make sure the voices of parents are prioritized and future school boards don’t trample on their autonomy as primary caregivers.
